I'm trying to run a matrix report and getting a message that only one CrossTabs report can be run at a time.
ANSWER
SIMPLE SOLUTION
Edit the WIN.INI file in the computer which is having troubles and erase the two line references to ReportDAT!
Restart PFW and the proper connections will be made automatically.
Go to My Computer
Open the C: drive
Open the WINDOWS folder
Find the WIN.INI file and double click on it.
Most likely the two ReportDat! lines will be near the bottom of the list.
Remove them and save changes.
A TEDIOUS SOLUTION...
Put the following in the WIN.INI file for the workstation that is not working:
[ReportDAT! Express for CW]
ReportDAT! Express Path=x:\\pfw
Where x is the drive letter of the network where PFW resides. Do a search in the WIN.INI to make sure this entry doesn t already exist (it probably does, just pointing to the wrong directory).
Reboot the computer, all done!
