Pole Display Drivers & Utilities
Many brands of pole displays are capable of emulating one or more of the displays shown above. For example, POS-X pole displays can emulate all three. If your pole display does not use one of these emulations, then there is a very good chance that it will not be compatible with POSitive products.

MISC HARDWARE INFORMATION
------------------------------
3 1/8" thermal receipt paper for Epson, Star, POS-X and other brands of thermal receipt printers can be purchased through most office supply stores.
Dot-matrix printers use 3" single or 2-ply paper and ribbons which can also be purchased through most office supply stores. For example, Staples sells the Epson ERC-38 series ribbon which is used in most Epson, Samsung and POS-X dot-matrix receipt printers.
POSitive products can work with scales as long as you use some kind of serial port to keyboard converter. We recommend the Plexis xWedge, which converts serial port input to keystrokes. xWedge has built-in support for "Generic", NCI and Mettler Toledo scales and you can also program trigger codes for other brands. Click here for more information on xWedge.
