Trying to set up stations and station 2 keeps defaulting to station 1. Not sure why?
ANSWER
The correct procedure is to run PFW on the machine which is supposed to be Station 2.
Go to File: System: System Setup: Stations
Edit or create Station 2
Checkmark the option "Set This Station To Your Default"
Choose F10 to Save
Immediately edit the station again to make sure the setting was retained.
IF THE CHANGE WAS NOT SAVED
Review the computer rights. It is possible that the computer has been defined to not have full read/write access to all files on the local computer and server computer.
To confirm this, go to Run: Search and find a file PFW*.INI. You should find a PFW1.ini or PFW2.ini. Attempt to rename it or delete it. If you cannot, then it is likely you have limited rights.
NOTE: the pfw1.ini and pfw2.ini sets this computer to default to station 1 and 2 respectively.
