HOW TO SWITCH DEPOSITS
A customer with a deposit on a layaway wants to void the layaway and apply the deposit to a second layaway.
ANSWER
Highlight the layaway to be voided. Choose the Payments button at the top of the screen. Choose to issue a refund. When prompted select Store Account or Cash.
Now highlight the second layaway and choose Payments button at the top of the screen. Choose take payment and if you had placed it on Store Credit you will be prompted to use that credit. If you had placed it as Cash, then use Cash so that the drawer will balance at the end of the day.
