MultiSite rules 3-21-2008

1) If you add inventory at a master site then you have an option to make the item shared or local
---a. If you choose shared then the item will be shared with all other remote sites
---b. If you choose local then the item will not be shared with any remote sites

2) If you add inventory at a remote site then the item will only be shared with the master site. The master site can then choose to share with other remote sites

3) Departments and categories are shared between all sites

4) Only the Master Site can add/edit/delete departments and categories

5) The tax setup information is exactly the same at for each site, however, each site can define it's own quick sale tax group and package sales tax category

6) All sites can add/edit/delete tax setup information

7) The chart of accounts is unique per site

8) The vendor list is the same at every site

9) The customer list is the same at every site

10) Not every report is MultiSite compatible

11) The Quickbooks interface is MultiSite compatible

12) All sites can transfer stock from any site to any other site, however, only the site receiving the stock can choose to receive the stock

13) AP/GL data is unique per site

14) AR data is the same at every site

15) Gift Certificate data is the same at every site

16) Purchase orders that are pending can only be viewed at the site where they were originally created

17) The employee list and the security settings are unique per site
