I have a question about item discounts. There is a select box under options in the individual item window that says ALLOW DISCOUNTS. We want them all to say allow discounts.
ANSWER
There is a very simple solution.
1) Go to Utilities: Category Defaults
2) Choose MASTER
3) Choose Edit
4) Activate Allow Discounts (checkmark it)
5) Now go to Reset Inventory [F5] (bottom left)
6) Checkmark Allow Discounts = YES
7) Choose Process.
This will reset ALL inventory.

Consider editing each existing category to make sure this option "Allow Discounts" is turned on so when you create NEW inventory items they will be set correctly.
