QUESTION:
I need some help to set up a receipt printer. I think I have all the equipment connected but I do not have a driver disk for the printer. I downloaded a driver but am not sure this is the correct one.

We currently don't provide any technical support for installing any hardware or drivers. However, there are a couple of different directions we can point you depending on what your hardware is. You may need to contact your hardware manufacturer or hardware dealer for further troubleshooting.
The bottom line is you should be able to successfully print a Windows Test Page before setting up the printer you wish to use in POSitive software.
Typically, if you are not using Star TSP100 Series Printer, or a Epson TM-T88IV USB Printer then you should be able to add a Generic/Text Only printer driver from within Windows and print a Windows Test Page to that printer using Windows and not POSitive software. Once you have successfully done that then just select that as the printer you want to print to in POSitive. If you aren't able to print a receipt using the Generic/Text Only printer drivers then you might need to use the printer's manufacturer recommended drivers which you should be able to get from your printer manufacturer's website.
However, if you are using a Star TSP100 Series Printer, or a Epson TM-T88IV USB Printer, then the setup on those are a little different and you should download the PDF documents for further information on setup and installation of those printers for use with POSitive software.
