Securing Magmi UI access

Magmi UI access can be secured as any web directory using your web server HTTP authentication support.
http://[yourwebsite]/magmi/web/magmi.php
---Password protect the Magmi folder using Apache or Administration panel from your web host
o Create a user & pass using apache htpasswd utility
o Create a .htaccess file with the appropriate AuthXXX directives to restrict access
or use your web host's administration panel method to secure access to magmi installation directory
---PCLink Setup
o Open the PCLink user interface from Windows System Tray and click on Settings
o Select the option 'Use Secure Connection'
o Enter the Magmi Username/Password that you created in the preceding steps
o Click Save
