How can I create a BLANK PO for the owner's to take to a trade show so they have something official looking and a PO number they can give the vendors?
ANSWER
1) Although PFW generates a PO Number, that number can be manually overwritten with any number you wish. The owners, for example, could make up their own PO ABC123 number while at the show and it can be entered in when the PO is actually created.
2) Create a PO for each vendor. Instead of adding a product to the vendor's PO, just choose a Line Note prompting for owner's initials or choice of PO Number, which can then be used for confirmation or order entry. To change the PO number, choose the DETAILS tab at the bottom center of the PO and erase the existing PO number to make a blank for the printout. This can be saved and printed.
3) When the owners return from the show, the paper work is converted to purchases orders in PFW. To change the PO number, choose the DETAILS tab at the bottom center of the PO and change the PO number.
