Debit PINpad Setup

Setup:

1) Setup your com port that this device is connected to with the following settings in the Windows Device Manager:
Bits per second (Baud): 1200
Data bits: 7
Parity: Even
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: None

2) Open Station Settings, Credit Card Processing, Debit Cards tab
3) Select the COM port for your PINpad (If your PINpad is DUKPT encrypted make sure to select the "Using DUKPT Encryption" option)
4) Click OK to close Station Settings

5) Click on File, Definitions, and then Tender Definitions.
6) Click Add.
7) Enter the following settings for the debit card tender definition:
Tender Code: DBT
Description: Debit Card
Receipt Description: Debit Card
Type: Debit Card
Use Electronic Debit Card Verification: checked
8) Click OK to save the changes.

2) Open Station Manager, Credit Card, Debit Cards tab
3) Select the COM port for your PINpad (If your PINpad is DUKPT encrypted make sure to select the "Using DUKPT Encryption" option)
4) Click OK to close Station Settings

5) Click on Maintenance, Definitions, choose Tender, then "go!"
6) Click Add.
7) Enter the following settings for the debit card tender definition:
Tender Code: DBT
Description: Debit Card
Receipt Description: Debit Card
Type: Debit Card
Use Electronic Debit Card Verification: checked
8) Click OK to save the changes.


To test this device:
1) Create a new invoice.
2) Add line item(s) to the invoice.
3) Click Tender(F10)
4) Choose the debit card tender type. The PINpad should prompt for a PIN number.
