ABOUT DISCARDED ITEMS
How To Discard Items
In PRM, go to Purchasing: RMA's: Returns From Customer
--- In PFW, go to Inventory: RMA Center: From Customer
Note: Items are listed here only after processing a return invoice and choosing to "Not Return To Stock"
1) Highlight the item to be discarded and choose DISCARD [F6] button
You will be notified that "the item has been discarded and has been placed in the Discard List. The list can b viewed in the Inventory Reports section located under the Inventory Menu."
How To Run Discarded Items Report
In PRM (and PFW), go to Report Center: Inventory Reports: Items Discarded and run the report. Set the date range and preview or print the report.
General Ledger - Journal
In PRM (and PFW), go to Accounting: General Ledger: Post Transactions
An automatic entry will be made for the discarded items.
