HOW TO CHANGE PERMISSIONS ON FILES AND FOLDERS
Initial website permissions have already been set up properly for your POSitiveCommerce website. However, you may find a need change the permissions on additional files and/or folders for use with Joomla. Here are the instructions to make permission changes:
1) Log into your POSitiveCommerce Web Hosting Control Panel (Plesk) at
https://ssl1.positivecommerce.com:8443/login.php3 or
https://ssl2.positivecommerce.com:8443/login.php3 (check your login information email to see which one applies to you).
2) Click on Manage Files On Domain under Tools
3) Select the domain and choose Next
4) Click on the "httpdocs" link - this is where your website files are located
5) Navigate to the file or folder you wish to modify the permissions on and click on the lock icon on the far right hand side of the page
6) Highlight "Plesk IIS User (IUSR_xxxx)" and place a check next to "Modify"
7) Highlight "Plesk IIS WP User (IWPD_53(xxxx))" and place a check next to "Modify"
--- If you are changing permissions for a folder place a check next to "Replace permission entries on all child objects with entries shown here that apply to child objects."
8) Click OK
