While creating an invoice, how can I quickly create an inventory item? I don't need anything more than a description and a selling price; I don't want to detain my customer for any length of time.
SETUP
1) File: System: System Setup: Inventory At Invoicing (press F1 for Help with options)
2) File: System: System Setup: Stations: Edit your station:
---- choose Invoice/Misc: Inventory and activate \"Fast-Add Inventory When Adding Inventory At Register\" (do not activate the other option)
USE WHILE INVOICING
When working with an invoice, and attempting enter a non-existent inventory item you will be brought to the Inventory List. Choose Add and fill in the minimal details, choose OK and process the invoice.
FOLLOW UP
On a regular basis one should go to the Inventory List: Menu Esc: and choose UnPosted. Edit each item and make changes as necessary: pricing, cost, description, vendor, min/max stock, new department/category assignment, and current stock count.
