Why can I not find a Credit Card payment on the End of Day report? It does appear on the Tender Summary report.
ANSWER
The transaction is not lost. It is simply being reported on a different end of day report than what you expected.
Most likely, the credit card payment in question occurred early in the morning before the previous day's drawer was balanced. Therefore it appears on the previous day's report rather than for the current day's report.
JUST REMEMBER...
When you balance a cash drawer the End of Day Report includes all transactions since the last time the drawer was balanced.
The tender report is based upon the date of the transaction.
If you look at reports before and after you will likely find what you thought was missing.
