Issue:
Wants to include or add the current date (printed), or the date an item was entered into inventory, on an inventory item label.

Solution:
Click File, Editors, Inventory Labels Editor. Highlight the label you wish to edit and click Edit. Rearrange/resize existing text boxes to make room for another text box that you wish to have display the current date. Click Objects from the top pull-down menu and select Insert, Text Ctrl+T. Place your mouse cursor (+) in the newly created blank area and drag the mouse cursor to the appropriate size to create a new text box. Double-mouse-click inside the newly created text box to open the Paragraph Properties screen. Double-click the highlighted '---' entry to open the Edit Text screen. Click the 'Date$()' tab and select the date format and click Insert, OK. To change the font properties, while on the Paragraph Properties screen, click once in the Font field and click the font properties button next to the font name. Click OK after you have made changes and click OK to close the Paragraph Properties screen.

NOTE: The first four numbers of the tracking number that may be included on the label refers to the purchase order ID number that the inventory item came in on. From there you can look up the date the item was entered into inventory.
