Backups Are Not Being Made At The Designated Time
Each morning when I start PFW it says the backup has not been made, so I make a backup at that time. One night I was working late and PFW still did not make a backup at the designated time of 7:30 pm. What is wrong?
We checked the File: Backups: AutoBackup Settings and determined that all the settings were correct.
1) master backup station is the computer we are working at
2) days of the week are checked
3) time of day is 7:30 pm
4) backup path is correct
5) number of backups to keep is greater than 1
ANSWER
This is a procedural issue. PFW checks the date to see if a backup needs to be made. Because you manually did a backup in the morning, the evening backup will be skipped because there is already a backup for the date.
The solution is to set the backup time to 1:00 am which will be on a new date. Nothing else needs to be changed. The backup will be made and you will not be prompted any longer.
