Cannot Find An Inventory Item

I have lost an inventory item. When I try to add it back into PFW it says it already exists. What should I do?

 

ANSWER

1) go to the Inventory List and choose ESCape Menu. Select Show Inactive Only.

2) check this list to see if it is there.

3) if you find it, you can make it active again by choosing the General Tab at the bottom of the Inventory List. Edit [F2] and turning on "Item Is Active"

4) if you do not find it, get everyone out of PFW. Go to Inventory: Maintenance: Verify Inventory Files.

5) if you continue to have problems, contact your dealer or POSitive Support.
