LAYOUT NOT FOUND

QUESTION:
When we try and print anything in invoice history or quotes we get an error message saying "layout not found".

SOLUTION:
Go to Station Settings and reselect the form you would like to use for printing Invoices, Quotes, etc. under Printer/E-Mail.


***WARNING***
Try the following if you are ONLY using Standard forms and NOT using any custom forms, as this will overwrite any custom forms you may have).

If you are still getting the error message then try the following (

PRM
1) Go to Maintenance > Utilities > Update Report Layouts
2) Go to Station Settings and reselect the form you would like to use for printing Invoices, Quotes, etc. under Printer/E-Mail

PFW
1) Go to the Choose Company Screen
2) Highlight your company and click Utilities
3) Click Update Report Layouts
4) Go to Station Settings and reselect the form you would like to use for printing Invoices, Quotes, etc. under Printer/E-Mail

Finally, if that does not solve the problem, right-click on the POSitive icon on your desktop and choose Properties, then click Find Target (Vista users choose Open File Location). Then COPY playouts.tps and preports.tps (in the root PFW or PRM folder) into your company's data folder (e.g. DATA2) overwriting the existing files
