I have created two identical invoices #72265 and #70910 that have the same line items and total selling price, but the costs are different. Why is that?
ANSWER
PFW is using a FIFO system of inventory control which also accurately reports costs and cost changes.
As soon as an invoice becomes history, the costs recorded in invoice history are true FIFO costs. When the invoice is processed PFW removes the next available inventory item from stock which retains its own unique cost independent of the Last Order Cost on the inventory detail screen or any activated landed, average, or include landed in average settings.
