Each week we put about 10 inventory items on a special promotion, but they are only valid if a customer mentions the promotion code while on the phone. Is there a way for PFW to handle this.
ANSWER
Coupon Manager is designed to do just that. Not only does it give the customer the best pricing when the coupon is applied, but it will also record the number of times the coupon has been used.
Each coupon is assigned to a specific department and category and running the Dept/Category sales report will show the popularity of the promotion.
Go to Inventory: Coupon Manager
